Pros: First time in my life that a contractor actually came in on budget.
Cons: If Sears really wants the customer to have a positive experience as they claim, they should at least have hints / suggestions for a kitchen remodel that go beyond JUST the part they are handling (cabinets / countertops /windows).

Sears rep suggested I move the sink to a new area, saying that the plumbing changes would be a "piece of cake". WRONG!! Also a couple of other structural issues they said would not be noticable when they finished the installation, proved to be major problems. While I realize they are not in the business of doing the whole remodel, if they really want customer satisfaction they should be more forecoming about the possible problems (especially when they do the actual design for the space). The cabinets are beautiful, but the experience left me less than satisfied. Also I had one VERY rude person to deal with!

The installers were professional, polite, had a sense of humor and didn't complain or whine in the heat. All in all it was a very satisfactory experience.

My wife and I were very pleased with the quality of work performed by the sub-contractors
that Sears had do our work. Sears stands behind there contractors and I can see why with
the good work they did on our 3 story home.
